1999 - Establishment of Nationalist Congress Party
Hon. MP. Sharad Pawar Saheb founded the Nationalist Congress Party on 10 June 1999 at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
2017- The party stood by the cooperative banks
The amount kept as deposit in District Central Co-operative Banks is mostly owned by farmers. After the government demonetized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, many district cooperative banks refused to accept money. Because of this, these banks and farmers were in trouble. Hon. Pawar Saheb consistently raised his voice against this in the Delhi court. Had frequent meetings and discussions with Hon'ble Prime Minister, Finance Minister, Governor of Reserve Bank. On the occasion, he gave a good lawyer and appealed to the court. So a huge amount was accepted. The NCP (SP) demanded that the government should compensate the losses incurred by banks and farmers.
2017- Farmers strike
The farmers went on strike twice for the right price of the goods produced by the farmers, implementation of the recommendations of the Swaminathan Committee, increase in the price of milk and other demands. Till date, the farmers of the state and the country themselves had never gone on strike. He stopped the production and refused to send it to the market for sale. Many farmers threw the produce on the road or on the roadside or gave it away to the poor and poor. The NCP (SP) and Hon. MP Pawar Saheb himself publicly supported this farmers' strike by holding a press conference. The Nationalist Congress Party participated in the farmers' strike. Therefore, the government had to negotiate with the strikers and accept some demands.
2017 - Agitation for increase in milk price
There was a demand to increase the rate of milk producing farmers for many days. But the government did not appreciate it. In the meantime agitations were held across the state on behalf of NCP for milk price hike. Farmers poured milk on the road. So now the government has increased the price of cow's milk by five rupees per liter. According to the Swaminathan Committee report, the farmers demanded that the price of milk should be Rs 35 per liter assuming cost of production plus 50 percent profit. Because the production cost of one liter of milk was Rs.23. Due to this, the milk business has become unaffordable for the farmers, the Nationalist Congress Party has organized milk agitations to raise this rate.
2017- Total loan waiver movement
After the severe drought in Marathwada and Vidarbha, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) staged a jail-wide agitation at the taluka and district levels across the state to waive off the entire loan of the farmers and get them new loans. National President of the party Pawar Saheb led the grand Shetkari Morcha for loan waiver in Osmanabad.In the legislative session, the MLAs of the party kept raising this issue and closed the work for a few days. There was a lot of confusion in the House over this question. The membership of 19 MLAs of the opposition party was suspended in this case. Therefore, MLAs of all opposition parties stopped going to the House and Sangharsh Yatra was taken out from Chanda to Banda across Maharashtra. However, the coalition government did not fully waive the farmers' loans.
2017- Compensation in cotton bollworm case
Bt cotton farmers suffered huge losses due to boll weevil that hit cotton last year. The NCP (SP) continuously protested to get them compensation. The matter was raised in the assembly. But the government did not give a single cover to the cotton growers.
2018 - Constitution Defense Movement
By changing the Indian state constitution, the architect of the constitution The BJP government made a cunning plan to destroy the constitution of secular and all-faith equality created by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He started the work of taking steps in that direction. To oppose it, Hon. Pawar Saheb took the initiative and held an all-party dharna and marched for the defense of the Constitution near the Gateway of India in the city of Mumbai.
Mrs. Fauzia Khan, National Women President of NCP (SP) , took the initiative and held Women's Constitution Defense Conferences in New Delhi and Mumbai. Hon. MP Pawar Saheb attended both these conferences and exposed the misdeeds of the government.

2018- Sugar factories issue
Cooperative and private sugar factories in the country have produced sugar on a large scale and a big question has arisen before them that how to sell this sugar. Honorable Mr. Pawar Saheb resolved this issue by meeting the Prime Minister by asking the central government to give subsidy for the export of sugar. It also raised the base price of sugarcane by asking the government to maintain a buffer stock of sugar. Moreover, the government was forced to give a package worth five and a half thousand crores for the factories.
2018- Anti-Inflation Front
The prices of all the essential commodities of the coalition government increased drastically. The prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed. The most expensive petrol-diesel in the country is available in Maharashtra. The state government imposed 45 percent excise tax. Therefore, the prices of petrol which should have been available at Rs 40 per liter and diesel at Rs 30 per liter went beyond Rs 70 and Rs 80. Due to this, the prices of all goods increased. During festivals and Diwali, the price of pulses increased tremendously and reached Rs. 150-250. Domestic gas cylinder went from Rs 450 to Rs 850. Before coming to power, BJP had promised to curb inflation. He was completely taken aback. Therefore, the NCP and especially the women's wing of the NCP held protests against the government throughout the state. Marched out. Statements given.
2018 - Hallabol movement
Hallabol movement started from December 2018 from Vidarbha. This movement received a huge response from the farmers and especially the youth. An anti-government atmosphere was created across the state. It became difficult for the MLAs of the ruling party to move. Even the Chief Minister started asking questions by playing Kya Huwa Tera Vada song on the speaker. Therefore, a loan waiver of up to one and a half lakh was announced. But many oppressive conditions and rules were imposed so that no one could possibly get it. Loan waiver applications were asked to be filled online. NCP (SP) has continued its struggle against this. The Nationalist Congress Party NCP (SP) has taken a position that it will not rest until the complete loan waiver is not received and Satbara is not completely cleared.
2019 - Shivswarajya Yatra
Just like the yugapurush Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj created the state of the Rayats, the charter of this new Shivswarajya was prepared by the Nationalist Congress Party (SP) and Shivswarajya Yatra was organized to spread awareness throughout Maharashtra.
August- 2019
Arjunwadi, by NCP (SP) Doctors Cell and NCP (SP) Welfare Trust. Free medical services and medication were provided to the flood victims at Shirol. National President of Nationalist Congress Party (SP) Hon. MP Sharad Pawar Saheb visited and appreciated the work of Doctor Cell.
April 2020
Through the NCP (SP) Welfare Trust, during the Corona period, 5000 nomadic folk artists of the state were registered and 3000 rupees were deposited in their bank accounts.
July-2020
Computers were distributed to 16 colleges in Konkan that were damaged by Cyclone Nisarga through the Nationalist Welfare Trust. Relief was also provided to disaster affected villages in Raigad district through Nationalist Welfare Trust.
April- 2021
A total of Rs 1 crore was given to the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund by the NCP (SP) Welfare Trust to help the health services, police force and government employees of the state who died in the battle with Corona and one month's salary of all the legislators and parliament members of the party.
July 2021- Help in flood affected areas
A total of 16,000 kits of household utensils and 16,000 kits of blankets were distributed for the relief of the flood victims of the state through Nationalist Welfare Trust. Along with this, household utensils, covering materials, kits of biscuits and toast etc. Various materials were immediately dispatched to the flood victims.

Due to heavy rains in the state during the corona infection, flood situation was caused. Considering the health of the flood victims, Nationalist Welfare Trust supplied 1 lakh corona preventive masks to the citizens of the flood affected areas.
July 2021 - "Rashtrawadi Jeevlag"
Under the program "Rashtravadi Jeevlag", the program is being implemented by the Nationalist Welfare Trust to provide support to children who have lost both parents due to Corona. This activity is being implemented by the NCP (SP) Welfare Trust so that the future of the children of the state who have lost their mothers and fathers due to Corona should not become dark and at the same time these children should get the love, support and cooperation of their loved ones. To enable the students from economically weaker sections of the Bahujan community to prepare for the competitive examinations, the President of Nationalist Welfare Trust Mr. Kha.Sri. According to the instructions of Mr. Sharad Chandraji Pawar, ``Rajrishi Shahu Academy'' under the organization of All India Maratha Education Council, Pune was given assistance of 50 lakhs.

August 2024- Self-respecting pride of Shivswarajya Yatra...
On August 9, from Shivneri Fort, Under the guidance of the State President Hon. Jayantrao Patil, the Shivswarajya Yatra of NCP Sharadchandra Pawar party started. All the leaders of the party are working to build a new self-respecting Maharashtra by going to various assembly constituencies in the state and interacting with the people and workers.
