Fauzia Khan is seen as a highly educated and well-versed leader on social issues. She was a teacher before entering politics. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar. Hon. MP. Sharad Pawar saheb directly gave her an opportunity in the Legislative Council. She was a minister in the UPA government from 2008 to 2014. Fauzia Khan held the portfolios of School Education, Women and Child Development, Cultural Affairs, General Administration, Information and Public Relations, Minority Affairs (including Auqaf) and Protocol. Fauzia Khan has also been the guardian minister of Parbhani district for some time. Mp.Fauzia Khan's political journey has started with the election of Parbhani Municipal President. The election was held directly by the people. Due to his leadership qualities, she also got an opportunity in the Legislative Council.
